"Why is the FM9 different?"
For unknown reasons, the FM9 (and AXE FX III rear exp. inputs) are the only Fractal products that do not accept a stereo/TRS connection for external switches. This means one switch per input, with a maximum of 3 external switches for the FM9. Connects with 2 TS (mono) cables.

New for 2024: V2 includes side vents for airflow when placed next to your FM9 and a matching color.

OCD Duo+ for FM9

Two ¼” jacks and switches, choice of either TS/TRS capability provides two external stand-in switches utilized for FM9 tap tuning (TS ¼” rt > cable) and Bank +1/Bank -1 tap/hold (TRS ¼” rt > cable) switching. Replaces a single tap/hold switch, and allows repositioning of an external Peterson Mini-Strobo-Stomp tuner closest to the input jack. The Strobo-Stomp acts as a volume kill-dry switch whenever the FM9 is being powered up/down, and also serves as a sweetened tuner for acoustic guitars utilized with the FM9. The Duo+ works flawlessly. Easy to reach, no issues with tuning or bank up/down.

Does the job

The DUO+ for FM9 works great. Nice that it's the same size/shape and the FM9. I deducted one star because it's pretty pricey for what it is - 2 buttons in a small aluminum box.

Duo+ for ToneX Pedal

I love the sleek design and the way the control cable has been added to the device so you can route it under the pedal and keep it hidden. The stomp buttons and overall device is built sturdy and should be able to handle traveling on the road.

So Tidy!

I got a variety of TS and TRS Nano Plugs. The TRS plugs are for my Fractal Audio FC-12 Expression Controllers and external switches. They are the perfect size for any pedal board, as they fit both vertically, horizontally, and with minimal lateral protrusion.
They’re easy to solder, and if I ever need to re-terminate them with longer cable one day, the solder lug design will make this a simple task.
Looking forward to tidying up my fly-rig board with some more Nano Plugs!

NanoPlug Jacks - Angled

Great add on

This switch is a great add on for the mastermind and effectively turns the 16 button Mastermind into a 20 button mastermind. It worked out of the box without any extra setup effort. I use it with the Kemper profiler and have assigned the four switches to tap tempo, tuner, bank up and bank down. This leaves enough switches on the Mastermind unit to cover all Kemper effects blocks with direct access. This makes this setup super convenient. Highly recommended product!

Great piece of kit. Made slightly pricey with postage

Absolutely love this! One of those - "didn't know I needed it until I had it" ideas! Sturdy and well made. To be fair, for what it is, its made a little pricey with the delivery costs on top, but after a couple of months I'll get over that and still love this!
